The Cement & Concrete SA’s Western Cape Branch recently hosted a technical talk presented by Jacques Smith from Go Consult.

The lecture was on “How does concrete that fails win a court case?”, which focused on the correct process of concrete sampling, testing and standards that are vital should a project ever go to court. The lecture was intended to educate and inform local readymix companies, contractors and engineers of the diligence and process that can be followed should concrete ever fail. The possibilities to work together to ensure that the customer always receive the best possible product were highlighted.
