Concrete is assessed by test results. In this case study of a real case that landed up in the High Court, the concrete was tested by the Engineer, Readymix Company and the Contractor. All the results were completely different. Early predictions indicated a possible failure. Further testing was done, but various mistakes made by all parties involved resulted the Readymix Company winning the case, even though everybody believed that the concrete did not quite make the mark.
