MTM (WC) How does concrete that fails win a court case?

30 March

Langenhoven said learn from other people’s mistakes, your life is too short to make them all yourself.

Concrete is assessed by test results. In this case study of a real case that landed up in the High Court, the concrete was tested by the Engineer, Readymix Company and the Contractor. All the results were completely different. Early predictions indicated a possible failure. Further testing was done, but various mistakes made by all parties involved resulted the Readymix Company winning the case, even though everybody believed that the concrete did not quite make the mark.

Learn from mistakes other people made and the influence of these mistakes.
