Sean Alfred’s presentation will cover the exploring of opportunities including a non-destructive concrete durability indicator test to current approaches for site quality control and durability assessment of concrete structures in South Africa.
Construction and demolition waste as a secondary resource in concrete production
Areej Gamiledien’s talk will focus on demolition waste as an alternative aggregate source for concrete production and its potential use as a supplementary cementitious material.
